Alireza Doostdar

Alireza is a Ph.D. student in Social Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University. Before coming to the U.S., he taught in elementary and high schools in Tehran and worked for six years as a news anchor and debate show host for an Iranian satellite tv station. When he's not writing for No War on Iran (or fiddling with its templates), Alireza blogs in Persian at Parishan Blog and occasionally thinks about reviving his English blog, Persian Blogger Chronicles. Below is a list of his contributions to No War on Iran:

- "People Power" in Lebanon
- The Politics of Ambivalence and Appropriation
- More on Conflating Iran's "Government" with its "People"
- Preemptive Dissent
